Lúa´s Next Step
Lúa was the first horse we rescued. She was also the first horse at the sanctuary to receive a prosthetic leg, and she hasn't stopped surprising us since.
Now we want to give her something better: an updated prosthetic, made specifically for the way she walks, that lets her move with more freedom and less effort.
This isn't a luxury. It's the difference between a mare who gets by with what she has, and one who can run like any other in the herd.
Every dollar you donate today brings us closer to that new prosthetic. You decide how much — and Lúa will thank you in her own way, with that same will to live that brought her this far.
